Though it is referred as the "Barcelona Bed" today, it has in fact been designed for the interior of Philip Johnson's New York appartment in 1930 and was not part of the Barcelona Pavillion furniture. Obviously, the similarity in style to the famous Chair and Ottoman has led to its nowaday nickname.
